Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a suitable mounting location with clear view and access.

  1. Mount the unit: Use provided hardware to secure bracket or flush mount.
  2. Connect power: Route power/data cable to 10–32 Vdc source; connect red to positive, black to negative.
  3. Connect NMEA networks: Attach NMEA 2000 drop cable or NMEA 0183 wires as needed.
  4. Connect sonar: Attach compatible transducer cable to appropriate port.
  5. Secure cables: Use cable ties and ensure all connections are waterproof.

WARNING! Ensure power is off during installation. Route cables away from moving parts and heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Apply power; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Select language: Choose from available options (default ENGLISH).
  2. Configure units: Set distance, speed, depth, and temperature units (e.g., nautical miles, knots).
  3. Agree to terms: Read and accept Marine Disclaimer.
  4. Calibrate sensors: Follow prompts for compass and water speed calibration if applicable.

Controls and Settings

Connecting Devices

  1. Turn off power before connecting devices.

Using Navigation Features

Plan and follow routes, mark waypoints, view charts.

With compatible transducer, view traditional sonar, ClearVü, or SideVü.

  1. From Home, tap Sonar.
  2. Select view: Traditional, ClearVü (down scan), or SideVü.
  3. Adjust settings: Frequency, range, sensitivity, color scheme.
  4. Mark fish: Use cursor to mark locations.
  5. Record sonar: Start/stop recording to microSD card.

Note: Sonar performance depends on transducer installation and water conditions.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use soft, damp cloth with mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

CAUTION! Do not spray liquids directly on unit. Ensure connectors and seals are free of debris.
