Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Select a suitable mounting location.

  1. Mount the bracket: Use provided hardware to secure bracket to a flat surface.
  2. Connect power: Route the power/data cable to the unit and to the boat's 10–32 Vdc system.
  3. Connect NMEA devices: Attach NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 cables if interfacing with other instruments.
  4. Connect sonar: Attach optional GSD sounder module and transducer cable.
  5. Secure the unit: Slide the chartplotter onto the bracket and tighten the locking screw.

WARNING! Ensure all connections are waterproofed. Disconnect power before making connections.

First-Time Setup

Apply power to the unit; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Select language: Choose from available languages.
  2. Configure units: Set distance, speed, depth, and temperature units (e.g., nautical miles, knots).
  3. Calibrate compass: If connected to a heading sensor, follow calibration procedure.
  4. Set location: Allow GPS to acquire satellites; set home port or default location.
  5. Load charts: Insert microSD card with additional chart data if needed.

CAUTION! Perform initial setup in an open area for best GPS reception.

Controls and Settings

Access menus via touchscreen or physical keys (POWER, PAGE, ROCKER, ENTER).

Touchscreen: Tap icons and menus. Use gestures to pan/zoom charts.

Main Pages: Chart, Sonar, Compass, Highway, Data. Settings: System (Units, Language, Time), Navigation (Routes, Waypoints, Tracks), Sonar (Frequency, Range, Alarms), Communications (NMEA, Network). Alarms: Anchor Drag, Arrival, Off Course, Depth, Water Temperature.

Connecting Devices

NMEA 2000: Connect to boat's NMEA 2000 network for engine data, wind, depth, etc. NMEA 0183: Connect to compatible autopilots or instruments. Sonar: Connect optional GSD module and transducer. USB: Connect to computer for software updates and data transfer.

  1. Turn off power before connecting devices.
  2. Use appropriate cables and connectors; ensure waterproof seals are intact.
  3. Configure device interfaces in Settings > Communications.

Tip: Label all cables for easy identification during installation.

Using Charts & Navigation

Supports detailed marine cartography and route planning.

  1. View Chart: From Home, select Chart. Use +/- to zoom, touch and drag to pan.
  2. Create Waypoint: Press MARK to save current location.
  3. Create Route: Menu > New Route, select points on chart, press ENTER.
  4. Navigate: Select a waypoint or route, press GO TO.
  5. Data Overlay: Display depth, speed, course, etc., on chart.
  6. Tracks: Record and review path traveled.
  7. Chart Details: Access tide stations, marinas, points of interest.
  8. Man Overboard (MOB): Press and hold MARK/MOB key to mark MOB location and initiate navigation back.

WARNING! Always use official paper charts as primary navigation aid. Electronic charts are an aid only.

Sonar Features

When connected to optional GSD sounder module.

Display Modes: Traditional 2D sonar, A-scope, Fish ID. Adjustments: Frequency (50/200 kHz), Range (auto or manual), Sensitivity, Noise Rejection. Alarms: Set depth and fish alarms. Bottom Lock: Zoom on bottom structure.

Care & Maintenance

Use a soft, damp cloth with fresh water to clean display and casing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

CAUTION! Ensure unit is powered off and disconnected before cleaning. Do not submerge connectors.
