Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a suitable mounting location with clear view of sky for GPS reception.

  1. Mount the bracket: Use included hardware to secure mount to helm or console.
  2. Connect power/data cable: Route cable to power source (10–35 V DC). Connect red wire to positive, black wire to negative.
  3. Connect optional devices: Attach NMEA 2000 network, NMEA 0183 devices, or sounder module as needed.
  4. Secure the unit: Snap the chartplotter onto the mounted bracket and tighten the security screw.

WARNING! Ensure all power is off before making connections. Route cables away from moving parts and high heat.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Set language: Select preferred language (default ENGLISH).
  2. Configure units: Set distance, speed, depth, and temperature units (e.g., nautical miles, knots).
  3. Acquire GPS signal: Place unit with clear view of sky; allow several minutes for first fix.
  4. Load charts: Insert pre-programmed BlueChart or LakeVü SD card to access detailed mapping.

Chart Settings: Orientation (North Up, Course Up, Head Up), Detail level, Shallow/Deep Water Alarms. Navigation Settings: Arrival Alarm, Off-course Alarm, Route Preferences. Connecting Devices

Power: Red/black wires to 10–35 V DC. NMEA 2000: Connect to network for engine data, wind, depth, etc. NMEA 0183: Connect to compatible autopilots or instruments. SD Card: For maps, software updates, data transfer.

  1. Turn off all power before connecting cables.
  2. Match wire colors/pins per installation diagram.
  3. Use waterproof connectors and seal any deck penetrations.
  4. Insert SD card with maps or update files.

Tip: Keep cable runs as short as possible and secure with cable ties.

Navigation & Chartplotting

Supports detailed marine and lake navigation with optional charts.

  1. View Chart: Press PAGE to select Chart page. Use ZOOM to adjust detail.
  2. Create Waypoint: Move cursor to desired location, press ROCKER > "Mark".
  3. Create Route: Press MENU > Route > New Route. Add points from map or waypoint list.
  4. Follow Route: Select route from list, press "Navigate".
  5. View Data: Press PAGE to cycle to Data pages for speed, course, distance, etc.
  6. Set Alarms: Access MENU > Alarms for anchor drag, arrival, off-course.
  7. Track Log: Enable in MENU > Tracks to record path.
  8. Man Overboard (MOB): Press and hold PAGE key to mark MOB position and begin navigation back.

Sonar Page: Displays depth, bottom contour, fish arches, water temperature. Settings: Adjust frequency (50/200 kHz), range (auto or manual), gain, and noise filters. Alarms: Set shallow/deep water and fish alarms.

Care & Cleaning

Disconnect power before cleaning. Use fresh water and mild soap with soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

CAUTION! Ensure connectors are dry before reconnecting power. Store in a cool, dry place.
