Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose a mounting location with clear view and access.

  1. Mount the Bracket: Use included hardware to secure mounting bracket to a flat, sturdy surface (dashboard or console).
  2. Connect the Transducer: Route the transducer cable to the transom or through-hull location and connect to the sonar port on the power cable.
  3. Connect Power/NMEA: Connect the red wire to positive (+), black wire to negative (-) on boat's 10–32 Vdc system. Connect NMEA wires if interfacing with other devices.
  4. Attach the Unit: Slide the chartplotter onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.

WARNING! Ensure all power is OFF during installation. Route cables away from moving parts and heat sources. Seal any hull penetrations properly.

First-Time Setup

Power on the unit; follow initial prompts.

  1. Acquire GPS Signal: Place unit in open sky view. Initial acquisition may take several minutes.
  2. Set Language & Units: Press MENU > Settings > System > Language. Set distance, speed, depth, and temperature units (e.g., nautical miles, knots, feet).
  3. Calibrate Compass (if applicable): Follow on-screen instructions if using fluxgate compass data.
  4. Configure Sonar: Go to the Sonar page, press MENU to set frequency, sensitivity, and range for your conditions.

CAUTION! Do not power the unit without proper voltage (10–32 Vdc). Ensure waterproof connectors are fully seated and sealed.
