Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose suitable mounting location.

Connecting Devices

  2. Use shielded cable for NMEA connections; keep away from power cables.
  3. Ensure proper polarity for NMEA in/out connections.

Using GPS & Sonar

  1. View GPS: Press PAGE to select Map page; see position, course, speed.
  2. Create waypoint: Press MARK at current location; edit name/symbol.
  3. Navigate to waypoint: Use GOTO function; follow on-screen bearing.
  4. View sonar: Press PAGE to Sonar page; adjust settings for best image.
  5. Use split-screen: Display GPS map and sonar simultaneously.
  6. Track plotting: Activate track plot to record path.
  7. Man overboard: Press and hold MARK for 3 seconds for instant MOB waypoint.
  8. Sonar recording: Record bottom contours to data card (optional).
