Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, install 2 AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH).
  2. Attach wrist strap: Thread through provided loop for secure handling.
  3. Power on: Press and hold POWER button until unit beeps and display activates.
  4. Initial satellite acquisition: Place unit outdoors with clear view of sky for first-time use.

First-Time Setup
