Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all components are present.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH recommended).
  2. Power on: Press and hold POWER button until unit beeps and display turns on.
  3. Initial satellite acquisition: Place unit outdoors with clear view of sky for first-time use.

First-Time Setup
