Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Install in vehicle safely.

  1. Charge device: Connect to vehicle power adapter or computer USB before first use.

  4. Start navigation: Tap "Go!" to begin route guidance.
  5. View route: Map shows turn-by-turn directions; voice provides prompts.
  6. Detour: Tap "Detour" to recalculate route around traffic or road closure.
  7. Stop navigation: Tap "Stop" to end current route.

WARNING! Always verify route safety. GPS may not reflect recent road changes or closures.

Map Updates & Management

Lifetime map updates via Garmin Express.

  1. Connect device to computer with internet.
  2. Open Garmin Express; log in to Garmin account.
  3. Check for updates; download and install.
  4. Disconnect after completion; restart device if prompted.

Note: Updates may take time depending on internet speed and update size.

Care & Cleaning

Turn off and disconnect from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for screen; mild cleaner on cloth for exterior if needed.
